Abstract: With the development of market economy, China’s petrochemical engineering construction market is gradually in line with international standards, and the determination of petrochemical engineering cost has gradually become the core issue of the industry. Through the research on the current situation, common attributes, advantages and disadvantages of petrochemical engineering cost database at home and abroad, this paper analyzes the demand for establishing petrochemical engineering cost database, and summarizes the basic principles that should be followed in the establishment of petrochemical engineering cost database, creating conditions for the construction of petrochemical engineering cost database.
